Evaluating Smart City Learning

The early work into the thesis produced ideas around dialogism and communication evaluation methods to measure knowledge construction and identity forming. I’m now of an opinion that this is largely not a workable idea, but it did contribute to more understanding around how connectivist theoretical ideas are in some ways impractical and unworkable, but at the same time laudable as an aim of learning and teaching in collaborative and creative empowered ways.

The presentation did produce some nice slides and a reasonable paper for early thinking. The paper was published in the proceedings, details at Worldcat

Here’s my paper on Academia.edu (print version) and Researchgate (pre-print).
